What is UMS medical?

Conveniently located on campus, University Medical Services (UMS) is available to all students and functions much like your family doctor’s office. Whether for treatment of an illness or injury, regular allergy shots, or an immunization for an overseas trips, you will receive care from compassionate physicians and nurses without leaving campus.

Update your Profile (optional though highly recommended)

Select Profile from the left-hand menu, and then click the edit button next to each section to update your information. You may update/edit any item which has an Edit button located to the right of the item.

Selecting Testing Location and Scheduling a Test

From the Home Please note, the application will now use your preferred name (with the exception of official documents such as your covid-19 results).

Showing up for your Scheduled Test

Before your scheduled appointment, if you opted-in to text messaging, you will receive a reminder text message 60 minutes prior to your appointment.

Receiving Test Results

If you opted-in to text messaging, you will receive a text message when results are available. Visit https://umaineportal.pointnclick.com/ to access the results.

As one of only a few federally-qualified Community Health Centers on the Western Slope, UMC is dedicated to ensuring that all patients receive quality healthcare regardless of their ability to pay. We work with patients to determine what they can afford, establish relationships with specialists, and enroll them in programs to offset costs.
