On July 30, 2021 the university announced that COVID-19 vaccinations are required for all University of Michigan students, faculty and staff by the start of the fall term on Aug. 30.

Domestic Student Health Insurance Plan (DSHIP) 2021-22

Students, do you need health insurance? If so, please consider this plan, which was developed with students' needs in mind. Enrollment for the Winter 2022 open enrollment period is now open, with coverage dates 1/1/22 to 8/23/22. The final day to enroll for this coverage period is January 31,2022. The cost for an individual student is $1,242.
