What is the patient portal and how does it work?

The patient portal allows you to access your healthcare record 24 hours-a-day, 7 days a week and anywhere via Internet access. Accessing the portal is simple. All you need is an active email address* and an invitation, via email, to register for access to the portal.

How do I apply to work at United Medical Center ER-nurses?

To apply please submit your resume to ER-Nurses@united-medicalcenter.com by January 14, 2022. Applicants will receive an emailed zoom link to select an interview time for the job fair. United Medical Center is excited to do our part to end the global health pandemic caused by the Coronavirus.

Is UMC recruiting nurses for the ER?

UMC is currently recruiting registered nurses for openings in our Emergency Room Department. We will host a virtual job fair from January 17 – 24, 2022 with virtual interviews available between 8am – 8pm.

The paperwork you would normally fill out at an in-person office visit can now be done conveniently online through our eCheck-In process.

How to Complete eCheck-In

You can complete your eCheck-In up to seven days before your appointment.

How long does it take to enroll in UMC?

Enrollment takes less than five minutes. If you had a healthcare visit to UMC or El Paso Children's Hospital you should have received an invitation to enroll for the portal via email. If you did not receive an email, please visit the hospital's Registration Department for enrollment assistance.

Where is the lab icon on the portal?

Once inside the portal your homepage is the central point to access information. Click on this icon located on the top left of the web page to view your health record, lab results and other medical information. The portal includes other useful links at the top and bottom of the pages.
