For general medicine appointments, call 413-577-5101. For same-day or next-day acute care appointments, please submit the Minute Nurse Triage Form. If you need COVID-19 testing, you can pick up a self-test kit behind UHS or, if you are a symptomatic UMass student, you can get a rapid test outside the main entrance. In an emergency, call 911.​

What is the new patient portal?

Our new patient portal provides students with the ability to electronically submit health forms and immunization documents required by Massachusetts law. Students will also be able to view portions of their medical record, access health education information, and receive secure messages from their Wellness Center medical provider.

What time does the Wellness Center open?

If you are an enrolled student and would like to speak to a health care provider to discuss your health care needs please call the Wellness Center at 978-934-6800 during our regular business hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:15 a.m. -4:45 p.m. Fridays from 9:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.

Unobserved Testing

Symptomatic UMass students who do not need rapid results, asymptomatic UMass students, UMass faculty and staff, and community members may utilize unobserved testing by picking up a free PCR test kit in the rear of UHS and dropping it off in the drop box. Results are available within 24-48 hours if you drop off your test Monday-Thursday.

Getting Your Test Results: UMass Students, Faculty & Staff

Unobserved Testing: If you drop off your test kit Monday - Thursday, your test results will be available within 24 to 48 hours. If you drop your kit off on Friday, you will receive results the following Monday evening or Tuesday. Tests are not processed on weekends or holidays.
