How to sign up for the patient portal?

Please go to UMMC's Gudelsky Lobby entrance or call 410-328-1500. Visitors As long as it is helpful, family — as you, the patient, define it — is welcome 24 hours a day, in most circumstances. Other guests can visit from 10 am to 9 pm depending on your unit. You have the right to withdraw visitations privileges from anyone during your stay.

When to register for patient portal?

Students are encouraged to register for the patient portal as soon as possible. If possible, register before beginning of Fall semester.

How to get my MRN number?

Get your medical record number (MRN) and activation code by calling the Patient Portal Help Desk at 734-615-0872 (7:30 am - 4 pm). Then create your account at MyUofMHealth.org by clicking the blue "Sign Up Now" button.

Do you have to be registered in the UHS electronic health record?

For all others: You must be registered as a patient in the UHS electronic health record (MiChart) in order to create a portal account.

Can you cancel an appointment with an established provider?

Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. MyUHealthChart uses the latest encryption technology.

How long does it take to get a response from MyChartCentral?

After you submit the form, you will receive a response via e-mail within two business days.

What is MyChartCentral?

MyChartCentral is a hub from which you can access your MyUHealthChart other MyChart accounts from the Miami area or nationwide, and Lucy. MyChartCentral allows you to easily any MyChart account without needing to remember different usernames and passwords.

How long does it take to log out of MyUHealthChart?

We aim to protect your privacy and security of your information. While logged into MyUHealthChart, if your keyboard remains idle for 15 minutes or more , you will be automatically logged out of MyUHealthChart. We recommend that you log out of your MyUHealthChart session if you need to leave your computer for even a short period of time.

Who owns MyUHealthChart?

MyUHealthChart is owned and operated by University of Miami Health System and is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and e-mail address will be treated with the same care and privacy given your health records and will never be sold or leased by MyUHealthChart.

What is Lucy medical record?

Lucy is a personal health record that gives you a permanent home to organize all your medical information. You can request an updated copy of your medical record at any time and store it in Lucy. You can also add personal information about your health and choose to share it with University of Miami Health System and other organizations where you receive care.
