Patient Relations is available to explain hospital policies and services as well as patients' rights and responsibilities. If you would like to compliment a hospital employee on his or her service, courtesy, attitude or enthusiasm, please submit your nomination to Patient Relations.
If your insurance is not sufficient, you may be asked to make a deposit before you are admitted. The amount of the deposit will depend upon your diagnosis and expected length of stay. Charges for any and all services are payable with cash, check or credit card. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.
UF Health Jacksonville accepts most insurance plans and will make every effort to expedite a claim. If you have acceptable hospitalization insurance at the time of your admission, a cash deposit will not be necessary. You may, however, be asked to pay a deductible or co-payment, depending upon your insurance plan.
