You can view/show their current screening compliance status using the Patient Portal. The screening badge can easily be shown using a cell phone when the student is logged in to the Student Health patient portal. The Show Badge button shows the current Screening Badge. The Complete Survey button allows a student to take a survey at any time.

Surveys

A: No, at this time that option is not available. If you are not coming to campus until later in September you do not need to complete the surveys now, but we suggest that you begin taking them and understand how the surveys produce your COVID Compliance badges.

Current Status of Vaccinations

The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department (SBCPHD) has announced that all individuals ages 12 and older are now eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines.

Vaccine Policy FAQs

The UC Office of the President has established a systemwide vaccine policy that requires all employees and students to be immunized against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 before they will be allowed in any UC facility or office to participate in person in any UC program.

Before You Move In

As mentioned in the communication sent on July 30, all students moving into Campus Housing will need to upload their vaccination records or request an exemption or temporary deferral through their Student Health patient portal in order to check in and receive their keys.

Move-In Information

During move-in, nearly all students will be moving into their new home along with you. To have a smooth, safe, and orderly move-in experience, please be sure to arrive during your selected move-in day and time, and not before. Instructions for move-in time signups were included in the room assignment email sent to your u-mail.

Important Information

Establish ownership in case your bike is stolen! Bike theft is the number one crime at UCSB. Register your bike on the Community Service Officer's Online Bicycle Registration page and the $10 registration fee will be charged to your BARC account.
