Disabling basic authentication. On March 5, 2021, UAB IT will disable basic authentication to Office 365 and require modern authentication, which is capable of two-factor authentication and would allow users to log in with Duo, providing more protection for their accounts and data.
A UAB student’s grace period for use of your accounts ends one year after the last semester the student attended classes. Your Office 365 account provides access to email, any documents or files you have stored in Office 365, and online Office applications.
