Why is patient privacy important?
Patient privacy is extremely important to us. Our policy around parents’ and guardians’ access to their child’s patient portal follows state and federal laws currently in place to protect minors requiring that some health information remain private.
What tests do not populate in the portal?
Some sensitive lab tests that do not populate into the portal are STD/HIV, toxicology, tumor markers, and blood typing.
How long can a parent access a child's health information?
Proxy access for patients 0-12 will be granted until the child turns 18 years old. Parent access will be limited automatically when the child turns 13.
Can a parent access a minor's health records?
As a parent or guardian, you can use a patient portal to access the health records of your minor child. Patient privacy is extremely important to us, so we have developed a policy around parents' and guardians' access to their child's patient portal that follows state and federal laws.
Is MyHealthInfo a secure portal?
MyHealthInfo is a web-based, secure portal that is hosted, maintained and operated by Cerner. Cerner has assured Munson Healthcare that MyHealthInfo is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy.
What is the Medfusion chat?
There is a live chat feature on the MedFusion site that gives you access to a skilled technician that can help resolve your issue. If you issue cannot be resolved this way, they will direct you to call MedFusion support.
How long does it take to get a summary of your chart?
Following the successful creation of your new account, you can expect to receive a summary of your chart information within 24 hours.
