Dr. Roderick is a Board-certified family practitioner who grew up in Garden City. He obtained his Bachelor's degree at Colorado Christian University and attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He joined Plaza Medical Center in September 2009, shorty after completion of his residency at Via Christi Regional Medical Center.

He completed his residency with Via Christi Family Medicine, where in 2012, he was named the outstanding resident. In August of that same year, he returned to his hometown and began practice at Plaza Medical Center. Melanie Algrim, a native born Garden Citian obtained her B.S.N from Pittsburg State University and her M.S.N as a family practitioner from West Texas A.&M University. She served nearly seven years active duty in the Air Force and retired from the USAF reserves in 2005. In addition to providing comprehensive family heath care, both at Plaza Medical Center and previously at Mexican American Ministries, she has instructed at GCCC in the nursing division.
