Dr. Tom McGowan

A lifelong resident of the Chicago area, Dr. Tom McGowan began practicing family medicine in 2002. He received his undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1995 and his medical degree from Rush Presbyterian College of Medicine in Chicago in 1999.

Scott Heelan, Physician Assistant

Mr. Heelan, who has been with North Suburban Family Physicians since 2018, has been key to providing consistent support for patient health needs and works in tandem with Dr. McGowan to provide the highest quality care — whether for wellness visits, chronic condition management, or an unfolding illness.

Sandi Motisi, Nurse Practitioner

A board certified family nurse practitioner, with a state license as an advanced practice registered nurse since 2008, Mrs. Motisi received her masters of science in nursing degree from DePaul University in 2008 and her bachelors of science degree in nursing from Lewis University in 2000.

Emily Horecny, Nurse Practitioner

Mrs. Horecny joined the practice in October 2021 as a state licensed, board certified family nurse practitioner. Mrs. Horecny received her masters of science and bachelors of science degrees in nursing in 2021 and 2013 from Lewis University.

Can you copy and paste your password on the Portal?

Yes. Portal passwords are encrypted and URLs are re-written so that they cannot be copied and pasted. You and authorized family members are the only ones who can access your Portal. Also, a timeout feature protects your information if you leave the Portal page open.
