Who is Mirsada Chittenden?

Upon graduation in 2018 she joined Thomas Chittenden Health Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In addition to providing primary care to her patients, she is focused on health promotion/disease management and on improving telehealth services in this clinic. Mirsada provides services in both English and Bosnian.

What is an acute visit?

Acute visits are those visits needed for an urgent medical problem. Thomas Chittenden has openings for acute visits every day of the week. In addition, there is always a provider available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for consultation at 878-8131.

Does Thomas Chittenden accept Medicare?

We can bill any insurance carrier; however, if we are not “in network,” you may be responsible for a higher portion of the charges for service provided.

Mary Anne completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Vermont, followed by a Dietetic Internship in Clinical Dietetics and post graduate studies at Oregon Health Services University in Portland, Oregon.

Cheryl was born and raised in Vermont. She has been with Thomas Chittenden Health Center since 2010.

Thomas Chittenden Health Center is a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), providing comprehensive care structured around treatment teams. Each provider has his or her own nurse or medical assistant, and together this team provides care for their panel of patients. This allows for a more personalized approach to your care.

Can you give your family access to your portal?

Yes, you can give family members, such as parents or healthcare pro xies, access to your Portal. This needs to be done within your healthcare facility and requires consent from you and your family member (s).

Can you copy and paste your password on the Portal?

Yes. Portal passwords are encrypted and URLs are re-written so that they cannot be copied and pasted. You and authorized family members are the only ones who can access your Portal. Also, a timeout feature protects your information if you leave the Portal page open.
