You can call the Patient Scheduling Center at 305-585-6000 and make an appointment for the service you need. If you have Medicaid, Medicare or insurance, we will register you over the telephone. If you need financial assistance, we will make a financial assessment appointment at your convenience.
When you call for an appointment you will be advised with what to bring. If you have insurance, please bring your photo ID, insurance card and your referral. In most cases, we will register you in advance so you can report directly to your appointment.
Hospital bills are based on the cost of our employees’ salaries, supplies, equipment, and other expenses needed to serve our patients. The daily room charge includes maintenance, housekeeping, linens, routine nursing services, medical records and other general care-related services. Additional charges are made for special tests or drugs ordered by your physician, and for services rendered in our operating, recovery, and delivery rooms.
Jackson Health System utilizes external agencies to assist with collection of patient account balances. If a patient wants to establish payment arrangements, our collection agencies will attempt to arrange mutually agreeable payment plans.
