If you have an upcoming appointment and would like to update any of your medical history information and/or medications, please access your patient portal using the link above, log in with the email address and password you used to create your account, click on your upcoming appointment date on the home screen, and update all applicable sections.
For detailed information regarding insurance authorization, cost estimates, confirmation of your surgery date and time, facility contact information and other pre-operative questions/concerns, please refer to the surgery packet you received at the time your surgery was scheduled.
After surgery, your provider will keep in close contact and make every effort to control any pain you may experience. While one should expect to feel some discomfort, advancements in pain control have made great strides in managing and relieving pain.
The Hand Center is located on the 3rd Floor of the Texas Center for Athletes (TCA). A one-stop-shop, the TCA has on its lower level a pharmacy, an advanced imaging center and a same-day surgery center. In addition, The Hand Center has on-site x-ray capabilities, certified hand therapists, a minor procedure room and cast room.
When you visit us at the The Hand Center, you will find a fine-tuned team ready to take care of you. Your physicians have over 100 years of collective experience and represent multiple generations and training backgrounds. In addition to your surgeons, you may meet one of our hand surgery fellows.
The Hand Center includes a training program for future hand surgeons. Each year, three to four physicians spend 12 months learning hand surgery in this Center.

Dina Rahhal has been practicing hand surgery in the DFW area since 2009, initially as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas , Texas , and then with Texas Health Resources in Arlington, Texas as a member of Orthopedic Medical Specialists. She purchased the Frisco Hand Center in 2020 from Dr. Timothy Allen and she is delighted at the opportunity to assume Dr. Allen’s practice and shares his commitment to high quality medical care, as well as clear, friendly, and informative patient communication.
As an established patient you may access our patient portal to request, cancel, or change appointments, view your lab results after they’ve been discussed with the physician, update your demographic information, request refills of medication prescribed by our practice, or even e-mail us with questions related to your health.
If you are a new patient to our practice feel free to print these forms and fill them out prior to arriving for your appointment to decrease the time needed for your visit.
