What is cataract surgery?

Cataract surgery is the most common medical procedure in the U.S. There is little to no discomfort during cataract surgery.

How long does it take to get a laser eye?

LASIK typically takes less than 10 minutes per eye, while the laser itself takes less than 1 minute per eye. The LASIK procedure does not hurt, but patients may experience some eye pressure afterward. In most cases, LASIK provides permanent results. Candidates for LASIK are over 18, have generally healthy eyes, and are not nursing or pregnant.
