What are the services of a cancer patient?

We offer patients and their family the following support services free of charge: 1 Helping patients and their loved ones deal with a cancer diagnosis 2 Supporting patients and their loved ones in making informed choices about care 3 Teaching stress reduction skills and other mind-body techniques to aid in the healing process 4 Assisting patients in accessing community resources 5 Helping patients navigate the health care system 6 Acting as a bridge between patients and medical teams to ensure patient's needs are met 7 Supporting patients with their practical concerns such as transportation, housing, and work-related issues 8 Helping patients complete health care directives 9 Education and support groups

What is oncology rehab?

Oncology rehab incorporates a wide range of therapies designed to help you build strength and endurance during your treatment. The goal of this program is to help you reduce stress and keep up energy to participate in daily activities that are important to you. St. John’s offers several rehabilitation therapies to patients. We highly encourage participation in these programs as they often elevate a patient’s mood and help them maintain a positive outlook.

What is the contact information tab?

The Contact Information and Insurance tabs are for you to review and verify the information. You may contact your doctor’s office directly to make any changes. The Pharmacy tab allows you to enter your pharmacy information so that your doctor can electronically send your prescriptions.

What is the test results tab?

The Tests and Results tab allows you to view any test or lab that was performed or ordered for you. You can also see the results of those tests or labs if they have come back. For example, all biopsies and blood work should be here for you to view. You are not able to change any information in this tab.
