Our History

The original Edmonds Birth and Family Clinic was a private practice group established in 1978 with three physicians delivering babies right in the clinic! Obstetrics, newborn care and pediatrics has always been the centerpiece of what we do.

Volunteering is beneficial for everyone

Whether you are volunteering to fulfill a service requirement, to make new friends or to make an impact at Swedish Medical Center, it's been proven that volunteering is beneficial to the volunteer as well as the organization and people he/she works with.

How to become a volunteer

ALL volunteers are required to make a minimum six-month commitment for four hours per week. Only three absences are permissible during the initial six-month period. We strongly encourage you to assess your schedule to determine if you are able to fulfill this requirement prior to applying.
