What is EHSRM in Texas?

Texas State EHSRM is the university authority on regulatory compliance for programs designed to monitor environmental health, fire and life safety, laboratory safety, and risk management, among other areas. As a resource to the university community, EHSRM staff serve as subject matter experts and provide guidance using their knowledge and technical expertise on a variety of safety and compliance issues. EHSRM maintains a presence on campus by performing routine compliance inspections as well as complaint investigations in areas of concern, including university infrastructure, construction activities, and laboratories, among other areas.

Where can I view my billing statement?

Students can view their billing statement by login into the Payment Portal. Please note that students can grant parents and family members access to view their student billing information and/or make payments by adding them as an authorized user on the payment portal.

Why do I have a negative balance on my billing statement?

A (-) negative balance on your billing statement may be due to estimated financial aid. The Financial Aid Office will begin disbursing aid 10 days prior to the start of the semester for students that have met and completed all requirements. Will my billing statement be updated if I make changes?

The billing statement will not change as statements are only generated once a semester for students that advance register. However, the student account activity displayed on the payment portal will update immediately as schedule changes are made.

Are the fees listed on my bill mandatory?

Yes. Although many of the mandatory fees charged provide tangible benefits, these fees also provide operational support in order to sustain each area of the university. Texas State itemizes the total cost of tuition and fees so that students can see how their money supports different areas of the university.
