How do I set up a remote appointment with IIT?

Please email us at student.health@iit.edu to set up your remote appointment. IF YOUR ISSUE IS URGENT OR EMERGENT, PLEASE CLICK HERE Make your health appointments online! The new Patient Portal allows you to make health appointments online. This does exclude appointments for immunizations. New patient – up to 30 minutes Return patient – 15 minutes

How do I make an appointment at the Student Health Center?

Students are able to schedule medical and counseling appointments through the Patient Portal. SHWC provides diagnosis and treatment of most common illnesses and injuries with the ability to provide appropriate prescriptions. Immunizations, allergy injections, gynecological care, sexual health screening, and walk-in appointments are also provided.

Can student health and wellness provide a note for a student?

You may make an appointment through the Patient Portal as many times per semester as needed, with no office visit charges. Some services require a minimum fee, but these charges are generally much lower than comparable services provided elsewhere. You may also obtain educational/printed materials provided by the SHWC.

What is student health center?

The Student Health Center uses a secure and confidential online system which allows currently enrolled students to view appointments and their electronic health information, message a provider and more.

Where can I get lab tests at SJSU?

If you're an enrolled SJSU student, come to the second floor of the Student Wellness Center for primary and specialty medical care. You can see a doctor to treat an illness or injury, pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy, and even get lab tests and x-rays.

Does SJSU require health insurance?

Health insurance is not required to visit the Student Wellness Center if you are enrolled as a student at SJSU. The Mandatory Health Fee (included with your tuition payment) includes unlimited primary care visits at no additional charge. Some additional services may require a nominal fee, which can be paid online.
