Patient medical records are the property of the hospital. However, patients and/or their representatives may have access to this information with a properly completed and signed release of information form. A valid photo identification is required for all release of information to the patient or their representative.
A birth certificate is completed for all infants born at St. Luke's Health-Memorial. This information is then forwarded to the State of Texas.

A new intensive care unit that includes 24 rooms – doubling the number of ICU beds previously available at the hospital – is conveniently located near the surgery suites, while the 26-bed Progressive Care Unit is housed on the fourth floor. Both units feature unique mini nurses’ stations that are positioned between every two patient rooms.
