Patient Meals

The Nutrition Services Department’s goal is to provide wholesome, well-balanced meals that will aid in your treatment and recovery. Patients participating in room service are served breakfast, lunch and dinner between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. You will receive a menu to keep in your room. To order, dial ext. 3438 (DIET) from your room phone.

Internet

Guest Wi-Fi services are available for your use. When browsing for a network, click on the MercyGuest network. Then click accept when you see the user agreement.

Telephones

All patient rooms have phones. Your family and friends may call you directly by dialing the number posted on your communication board. Dial 97 and the number to make local calls, which are free. Make extended local and long-distance calls with a calling card or collect. Dial 0 for the operator if you need help.

Television

Each patient room has a TV which is equipped with Closed Captioning for the hearing impaired. Please be considerate of others by keeping the volume down and turning it off at bedtime.

Personal Belongings and Valuables

Personal care items such as contact lenses, eyeglasses, hearing aids and dentures can be stored in your bedside stand when not in use. Please do not put them on your bed for food tray to help avoid them being lost or damaged. Leave valuables like jewelry or cash at home, or give them to a trusted relative or friend to watch over.
