How to contact Saint Alphonsus Resource Center?

Billing Billing If you have a co-pay, co-insurance or deductible we will ask you to pay it at the time of service. We will submit the charges to your insurance company. If you wish to have a copy of the estimate of charges, we can provide that to you upon request. Our billing is done through a centralized billing department of Saint Alphonsus.

Does Saint Alphonsus submit the charges to my insurance company?

B. Self-pay patients receive an uninsured discount (automatically posted) at time of final billing. C. If payment in full is received within 28 days of the first patient statement date or within 30 days for physician services accounts (Saint Alphonsus Medical Group or SAMG), the patient billing and collection cycle is complete. What if I don't have health insurance or have only limited insurance?

If you do not have health insurance coverage or resources to pay your bill in full, contact Patient Financial Services at that hospital you were seen to discuss your situation. Who is eligible for Financial Support?

All patients, regardless of race, creed, gender, age, or national origin, may apply for financial assistance from Saint Alphonsus Health System (SASH) either in advance of or after receiving covered services.

What services qualify for Financial Support?

Financial Support applies to all medically necessary patient services that are provided at our hospital including inpatient, outpatient and emergency services.

What services don't qualify for Financial Support?

Saint Alphonsus Financial Assistance is not available for the following services:

How will I know if I qualify for Financial Support?

In order to determine your eligibility for our Financial Support, you will be asked to complete a Financial Assistance Application and provide certain supporting information to verify your household income and net assets.

What are the patient obligations when receiving Financial Support?

If you apply for our financial support, you will be expected to cooperate in providing the requested financial and other information used to determine your eligibility in a timely manner. If you qualify for partial support, you will be expected to pay the remaining balance for the services you received.

Who do I contact if I am interested in applying for assistance or have a question on my bill?

If you have any questions regarding your account or our financial support, you may contact us prior to registration, at the time of registration, or following your hospital visit by calling the financial service department at the hospital you were seen at. Our regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
