Nephrology is a subspecialty of internal medicine concerned with disorders of the kidney and blood pressure. A nephrologist is a physician who has been trained in the general specialty of internal medicine and then sub-specialized in the field of nephrology.
Our nephrologists provide comprehensive renal care to people with kidney disease, hypertension, and kidney transplants. Often our patients have kidney disease as a result of diabetes. Our experts can provide and recommend a variety of practices and solutions so you can obtain better kidney health and lead a healthier life.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive kidney care to people throughout western Oregon. From Roseburg to Coos Bay and Florence to Eugene, our nephrology doctors are available to help patients and provide care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Our office requires a referral from another physician before an appointment can be made. Once you have an appointment a new patient packet will be mailed to you, which you will complete and bring with you to your appointment.
We are HIPAA compliant and you will be given a copy of our privacy policy. If you have any questions about our HIPAA privacy policies, contact our office 541-868-9233 and ask for the HIPAA compliance officer.
Any insurance co-pays must be paid at the time of your visit. Payment forms accepted are check, cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Remaining balances after insurance has paid are due within 30 days. If you are uninsured or are not able to pay your balance in full, contact our business office to work out a mutually acceptable payment plan.
Be sure to bring your insurance card with you. Eugene Springfield Nephrology Associates provides care for patients in most managed care and standard insurance plans. You should check with your insurance company if you have questions about whether we are on their panel of providers.
