Shift changes occur at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every day. Patient care information will be shared with the oncoming staff followed by a complete assessment of the patient. The nurses use Bar Code Medication Administration. After verbal confirmation of the patient’s name, their ID band is scanned, as is each medication.
Our board certified internal medicine physicians, or hospitalists, care for each patient. These hospitalists may also request consultations with specialty physicians or other specialists during your stay.
After receiving updated guidance from the Washington State Department of Health, the overall policy around patient visitation is changing this week.
Family and friends are welcome to dine in our cafe, which is located on the main level of our hospital.
