How to prevent the flu?

The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. We strongly recommend the following: 1 If you have any flu-like symptoms, such as fever, a dry cough and/or shortness of breath, contact us. 2 Take common-sense preventive actions to stop the spread of germs. 3 Practice social distancing (6 feet apart). 4 Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others. 5 Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. 6 Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. 7 Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. 8 Avoid close contact with people who are sick. 9 Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care. 10 Cover coughs and sneezes and then immediately wash your hands.
