Dr. Kim, a founding member of Simi Obstetrics and Gynecology Medical Group , has been in practice in Simi Valley since 1998 and has delivered over 2500 babies. She is passionate about women’s healthcare and views it as a privilege to care for her patients through the different phases of their lives.#N#A leader well respected in the community, Dr. Kim completed her tenure as the Chief of the Perinatal Department at Simi Valley Hospital from 2010 - 2012. Dr. Kim received the Adventist Health Simi Valley Hospital Physician of the Year Mission Award in 2013. Dr. Kim was Chief of Medical Staff at Adventist Simi Valley Hospital from 2017 through 2019. In addition, Dr. Kim has been the volunteer Medical Director at the Simi Valley Community Pregnancy Clinic since 2005. Dr. Kim is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the California Medical Association. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she received the “Excellence in Laparoscopic Procedure” honor as the chief resident. Dr. Lee received honors and awards in recognition of her academic and professional excellence during her residency, including CREOG Exam Achievement Award and Resident Research Awards. She has also presented her research in IUD at a national conference in 2011.
