Sharesource is available globally on our automated peritoneal dialysis systems, including in the United States. Sharesource remote patient management platform is a two-way, digital health solution that enables healthcare professionals to stay connected with their home dialysis patients.

Sharesource will be performing scheduled maintenance from 06 August 2021 21:00 to 07 August 2021 02:00. Treatment data from connected devices will be available shortly after maintenance is complete. Patients may proceed with treatments as planned.

What is permissible use of the Sharesource Platform?

You agree to seek user access rights to, and to use, cause, or permit the use of, the Sharesource Platform for lawful and ethical purposes, and in accordance with Baxter's design and authorized functions only.

What does it mean to be a personal representative on Sharesource?

If you are a user's personal representative, you represent that you have the user's permission to use the Sharesource Platform on his or her behalf. Furthermore, you are also responsible to protect the confidentiality of the information displayed on the screen after you login with your user ID and password.

Baxter does not screen communications in advance and is not responsible for screening or monitoring material posted by users. Baxter reserves the right, but has no obligation, to review material posted to the Sharesource Platform by users and edit or remove such material in its sole discretion.

Is Sharesource an emergency notification tool?

The Sharesource Platform is not an emergency notification tool. Contact your designated emergency number immediately should a serious or life-threatening event occur. Moreover, the Sharesource Platform does not provide, and is not a substitute or replacement for, medical advice or judgment.

Receive in-depth data on skipped treatments, loss of total treatment time, and loss of dwell time of completed treatments. With Clinical Decision Support (CDS), you will have access to guidance on examining lost treatment time and adherence-related issues along with recommendations for intervention. 1

Catheter function

Access the average catheter drain and fill times for each patient, providing unique visibility and insights to slow-building issues and complications related to malposition or migration, fibrin standards, or constipation. CDS further supports examination of various flow patterns and offers guidance on clinical evaluation and management. 1

Alarms

Delivers a powerful cross-check analysis on the number of alarms generated during treatment, to help understand alarm trends. CDS further enables clinical intervention to minimize patient disturbances from alarms. 1
