Why choose seed for patient education?

The providers at SEED believe that patient education is a crucial part of the medical care of patients with diabetes. Our goal is to provide patients and their families with the knowledge needed to achieve and maintain good health.

Where is seed located?

Disorders. SEED is located in the back parking lot of the shopping center at Holcomb Bridge Road and Old Alabama. The front side of the shopping center contains LA Fitness, Chase Bank and Ballard's Back Room. Although our address is listed as Holcomb Bridge Road, we are actually located off of Old Alabama Road, directly accross from the Publix.

Donni Jester, RN, BSN, FNP

Donni has 23 years of experience in critical and emergency care. She graduated from Emory University and received a graduate degree from Brenau University. Prior to joining this practice, she worked in internal medicine.

Eileen Borkovich, RN, MS, APRN

Eileen has over 30 years’ experience in healthcare, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1984 from Northern Illinois University. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, in 2006 from Kennesaw State University. She has experience in family practice, cardiology, and endocrinology.

Ellen Medved, MBA, BSN, RN, CDE

Ellen is our diabetes educator, specializing in Insulin pump therapy, Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Insulin Management. She has over 20 years experience as a diabetes educator working in out-patient diabetes education, endocrinology and the diabetes industry as a consultant.

Donna S. Genzale, MS, RD, LD, CDE

Donna is both a Registered Dietician and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She has over 25 years’ experience in nutritional counseling and diabetes education in the hospital and private practice setting. She is a certified insulin pump trainer, and is certified in adult, adolescent and pediatric weight management.

Staci Wise, PA-C

We are excited to welcome Staci Kies Wise to our practice in March 2020. She has worked as a physician’s assistant specializing in endocrinology for over 13 years in the Greater Atlanta area and comes to us with excellent professional expertise.

Diane Hood, RD, LD, CDE, ACSM-CEP

Diane Hood, RD, LD, CDE, ACSM-CEP has 27 years’ experience in clinical nutrition, diabetes care, weight and obesity management, clinical research, and health and exercise education.
