What is Sancta Familia Center?

The Sancta Familia Center for Integrative Medicine approaches each patient individually and in the context of their family situation to help choose the best course of treatment. Nutrients offer a fundamental and natural approach to promote desired results and wellness with a much reduced side-effect profile while reserving the option to use traditional therapies in the future. Integrative management is a safe compliment, and in some cases, alternative to traditional pharmaceutical based interventions.

What is a patient portal?

The patient portal is a vital link for us to communicate with patients, contains forms and other important information specific to our practice. Once logged into the patient portal click on “My Health” and then “Medical Forms.”. Look for the link titled “New Patient Information Packer,” download it and review it.

How to prepare for a blood draw?

Preparation for testing: Be well hydrated for the day of and the day before a blood draw. Bring your insurance card and the paper laboratory requisition to the lab for the draw. Refrain from taking any supplements containing zinc or vitamin D for the day before and the day of the blood draw.

What is a child lab?

ChildLab is the laboratory associated with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and offers a wide range of clinical testing. To find a location please click here. Laboratory Corporation of America. LabCorp is a national laboratory capable of a wide range of clinical testing.

Does insurance bill for lab testing?

By arranging for laboratory testing in this manner, the laboratory will bill your insurance directly. Be sure to bring your insurance card with you to the laboratory appointment.

Appointments

Established patients may use the patient portal or call the office. If your child is ill or you desire a same day appointment, please call the office at 614-245-4750.

Questions for the Medical Staff

If your child is sick or experiencing a medical emergency for which an immediate response is needed, DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE OR SEND AN EMAIL. Please call our office and let the receptionist know of your situation. The physician will be paged.

Medication Refills

Please be observant if your child’s medicine is running low or to call us if planning travel on or near the needed time for a refill. In most cases the best way to request a medication refill is to ask the pharmacy to request the refill for you, either electronically or by fax.

After-hours Calls

In the case of an emergency that cannot wait for a phone call, call 911 or go directly to the nearest Emergency Room. Urgent medical problems that cannot wait until the next day need to be evaluated by the physicians at the nearest Nationwide Children’s Hospital Close to Home Center.

Family Wellness and Primary Care

We provide care for the entire family! We offer annual well-child exams for our pediatric population as well as our adult population. We can manage your asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disorder, mental health (depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD), as well as your medications and more.

Pediatrics

We do special developmental screenings and prepare educational packets, which go over growth and development and are given out during Well Child Exams.

From Well-Woman/Man, Well-Child, Sports, Camp, School, Pre-Operative and DOT physicals, Sancta Familia can help your family prepare for any upcoming activity or surgery.

Acute Care and Vaccines
