Who is the pediatrician at MCV?

Gwendolyn has been with Richmond Pediatrics since completing her residency in pediatrics at MCV in July of 1999. She completed her undergraduate education at South Carolina State University. Dr. Gibson attended medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Bowers

Dr. Kate Bowers grew up in Midlothian, Virginia. She attended Denison University in Ohio, and VCU School of Medicine in Richmond. Dr. Bowers completed her residency training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Phillips

Dr. Phillips has just recently moved here joining us from West Virginia. She was born and raised in rural WV and has lived there most of her life. She completed her undergraduate education at Emory and Henry College in Emory, VA earning her BS in Biology.

Dr. Leary

Dr. Stephanie Leary joins Firefly Pediatrics in January 2020. She grew up in the California Bay Area until her early teenage years. Since then, Richmond has been her home base. Dr. Leary attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree and then Virginia Commonwealth School of Medicine for her medical degree.
