They are physicians who specialize in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of adults, usually providing long-term comprehensive care in managing common and complex diseases. Internists have a detailed understanding of each patient’s unique medical history and are extremely valuable in coordinating and managing treatment when other specialists are involved in a patient’s care. RDC is excited to announce our latest addition of women’s imaging services: Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, also known as 3D Mammography. This innovative mammogram technology allows the radiologist to see breast tissue in ‘layers.’ This feature and the reduction of callbacks has been beneficial for all women in the early diagnosis of breast cancer.
