Riverview Regional Medical Center (RRMC), formerly Carthage General Hospital and Smith County Memorial Hospital offers high quality healthcare to residents of Smith and surrounding counties. Dr. Frank T. Rutherford built Carthage General Hospital in 1966 and Smith County Memorial Hospital opened in 1952.
