We offer primary care services from the interprofessional community clinic every Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Patients are seen by a student team and treated by a supervising healthcare provider.
Podiatric care at the clinic is devoted to providing optimal care for patients, focusing on foot and ankle health.
The Interprofessional Community Clinic provides quality, comprehensive behavioral health services tailored to the diversity of our patients. Our range of behavioral health services are designed to help adults or couples cope with a variety of life challenges, including:
We provide physical therapy services for area residents, typically from teams of two to four physical therapy students, along with a licensed RFUMS physical therapy faculty health care provider who provides supervision and mentorship.
Pharmacists work closely with other health care providers to ensure the appropriate medications are prescribed as part of a treatment plan. Medication counseling and education is an integral part of our primary care appointments.
The best way to prepare for a future in health care is to learn in an inclusive community that’s actively improving and shaping what’s next in the field. We celebrate your diversity and values which echo our mission, inspire our ongoing work and reflect the communities you will serve.
Our students consistently testify that our interprofessional approach to teaching and learning sets apart their experience at RFU. “Interprofessionalism” is a word with many syllables but a single goal: better health care for everyone, with strong interdisciplinary teams as the foundation.
