Please plan for your initial visit to last a minimum of two (2) hours. We will make every effort to start your visit on time, however due to the nature of our specialty practice, which includes emergencies, we sometimes incur delays. We appreciate your patience.

One of the many things we do to try and make your first visit to RGW a smooth and pleasant experience is to provide you with the various medical forms to fill out in advance of your visit.

What to Expect

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all patients and visitors must wear a protective face mask at all times and adhere to proper hand hygiene. When you arrive, you will be greeted by our medical receptionist, who will take your temperature. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 will not be permitted to enter.

Physician Referrals

Most of our patients are referred to us by other medical professionals, but we do accept all patients with retina problems. If you have been referred to us by a physician, please bring the Consultation Request Form since it provides a clear explanation of your eye problems as assessed by your referring physician.

What is a patient portal?

Patient Portal is an Internet service that allows NJRETINA patients to have secure web-based access to select information contained in their electronic medical record and to communicate with their NJRETINA health care team.

Can you share your pin with anyone?

It is extremely important that you keep your PIN in a secure location and completely confidential. Please DO NOT SHARE your PIN with anyone. Anyone with access to your PIN will be able to view your medical information and communicate with your health care team as if that person were you.
