All procedures are performed by experienced, licensed professionals.

Important Note: If you have not been seen within 12 months, please contact us to schedule an appointment. We cannot refill a prescription if you have not been seen within the past year.

Kurt L. Maggio, M.D

Dr. Maggio, our President and CEO, started Renewal Dermatology & MedSpa in summer 2012, having retired from a career in military medicine spanning three decades. He served as a faculty researcher and physician in the country’s third largest dermatology residency training program for 15 of those years. He loves to teach and learn.

Rolla Jaber, M.D

Dr. Jaber is Dr. Maggio's business partner and Chief Medical Officer. She is a board certified dermatologist and has been practicing in the Northern Virginia area since 2008.

John W. Brady, M.D

Dr. Brady is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has been honored by his colleagues as one of Washingtonian Magazines Top Doctors consistently since its inception. Dr.

Reena Vaid, M.D

Dr. Vaid is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a native Texan and was raised in Houston, Texas. She attended Emory University receiving a Bachelor in Arts in Asian Studies and Sanskrit. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree and completed her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston Texas. Dr.

Leilei Huffman, M.D

Dr. Huffman is a board certified dermatologist and Northern Virginia native. She received her medical degree (M.D.) from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her dermatology training at Wayne State University in Michigan. She also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia.

Kathryn Sowerwine, M.D

Dr. Sowerwine is a board certified Allergist and Immunologist with a special interest in dermatological diseases. Dr.

Kara Hoverson, M.D

Dr. Hoverson is board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained mohs surgeon. She grew up Cooperstown, ND. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a BS in Microbiology then continued at NDSU doing graduate work in Virology. There she decided to pursue a career in medicine and to serve her country.

Gainesville Location

7512 Gardner Park Drive, Gainesville, VA 20155 Located on Route 29 between the 7-11 and CVS. You will see a sign that says Gainesville Professional Building. We are located in that plaza.

Prince William Hospital Location

Prince William Hospital 8650 Sudley Road, Suite 310, Manassas, VA 20110 We are located on the grounds of Prince William Hospital. You may park in any designated visitor/patient spots.

Crestwood Location

Located in the Crestwood Professional Center. Our office is near the FedEx drop box and faces Crestwood Drive. There is a small sign on the outside of our building.

Springfield Location

8136 Old Keene Mill Rd. Suite A201, Springfield, VA 22152 Located in the Cary building. You may park in any available space.

Fairfax Location

10560 Main Street, Suite 415, Fairfax, VA 22030 Located in Mosby Towers. You may park in any available space.
