He and his wife, Dr. Grace Raja, a hematologist/oncologist with CARTI, are glad to be in Arkansas with their three young children.
Dr. Vijay Raja is an interventional cardiologist who enjoys caring for patients with all forms of heart disease, but especially has a passion for treating patients with refractory symptoms and those needing acute interventions. He was born in New Jersey but was transplanted to Texas at age 11.
He moved back to Texas to complete his post-graduate training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. In addition to patient care, Dr. Raja has a strong interest in health care management and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from University of Texas at Dallas during his cardiology fellowship.
