Patient Care

Our division provides professional services to UF Health Jacksonville, a 695-bed tertiary care teaching hospital serving Northeast Florida and the greater Jacksonville area.

Education

Our division offers an ACGME-accredited pulmonary disease and critical care medicine fellowship program and is also involved in the department of medicine's internal medicine residency program and undergraduate medical education elective/clerkship courses for third- and fourth-year medical students.

Research

The research interests of the division focus on participation in prospective clinical trials in critical care medicine and in the area of reducing medical errors and optimizing end of life decisions, as well as mentoring resident-driven case reports and presentations.
