How long does it take for PCR results to come back?

If you are asymptomatic, have NOT had an exposure to COVID-19, and want a COVID test for travel please be aware of the following: PCR testing results are taking at least a week to get back at this time (it could become longer because of the increase in testing)

When is the fall 2021 waiver deadline?

Fall 2021: All students who have their own private insurance are required to do a new waiver every academic year in the Fall. SHAC will send email reminders to your pdx.edu email. The Fall waiver deadline is 10/10/21.

Assessment Services

The mission of the LD/ADHD Testing at SHAC is to reduce barriers to learning for at-risk PSU students. We offer high quality, low-cost assessments so that students may be eligible to access other campus resources, such as learning accommodations through the Disability Resource Center.

Outreach, Campus Partnerships, and Consultation

SHAC Counseling offers a number of consultation training services that include: one-on-one small group consultations, guest lectures, program development, committee involvement, critical incident involvement, workshops, and on-going liaison relationships with PSU departments.

Military Personnel & Veterans: Mental Health Resource Guide

SHAC has created a comprehensive mental health resource guide for military personnel and veterans. The guide covers patient rights and responsibilities, SHAC mental health resources, PSU resources, community providers and resources, helpful resources for veterans and FAQs.

My Penn State Health is a secure website where you can conveniently manage your health care information related to your visits with Penn State Health providers.

You can create your account online using the Self-Enroll process. Or you may sign up with the office staff during any visit to the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center or one of our Medical Group locations.

Accessing the SHSU Patient Portal

You must activate your SHSU email before you can log in. SHSU requires to submit all medical information through our Patient Portal. Our Patient Portal allows you to upload documents from your smartphone.

Uploading your Insurance
