Nope! When placing an order with Parachute, users answer a few insurance qualifying questions directly on the platform that replace the need for all physical documentation.
Yes - Parachute Health is compliant with HIPAA guidelines, and completes a HIPAA compliance audit each year to ensure the safety of your patient data.
Yes. A facility can have as many users as they’d like. There are two types of users: “Admin” users and “Standard” users. Admin users can place DME orders as well as add/remove other users, while Standard users only have the ability to place orders. An Admin user must be director level or above (i.e. Director of Social Services)
Yes. Clinicians have the ability to sign orders via text message and via email, neither of which requires them to create a Parachute account.
Yes - you are free to include as many items as you want in the same order for the same patient.
For HIPAA compliance reasons, just like every faxed order has a name attached to it, we must know which individual placed the order, and thus facilities cannot use a generic email address to place orders.
Parachute is an ordering platform: not a supplier; we make it easier for you to connect with your supplier (s). When ordering with Parachute, you can use whatever insurance (s) are accepted by the supplier from whom you are ordering.

Preferred works with almost every insurance available. That means you can get superior care, whichever plan you’re on.
Founded in 2007, Preferred has grown ― in just 10 years ― into one of the state’s largest licensed home care agencies.
Home aides get sick too — but what does that mean for you? At Preferred, you will NEVER go without care, even if your aide has to cancel one day due to illness or emergency. At a moment’s notice, we’ll replace your caregiver so you get the help you need.
Needing help is hard. Getting an aide doesn’t have to be stressful or overwhelming. At Preferred Home Care, you’ll enjoy a surprisingly smooth experience — from the moment you pick up the phone, through the hours spent each day with your aide. Be understood.
Preferred Care at Home has continued this tradition by only referring the most reliable, compassionate, experienced and affordable caregivers to client’s homes or care facilities.
Our caregivers are specially trained in end-of-life care. Depending on your needs, they may, for example, prepare easy-to-eat foods, read to you, and watch for discomfort and summon health-care providers if needed.
Companion care is available from 1 hour to 24 hours. It’s an excellent choice for seniors who live alone or don’t have a lot of family and friends nearby. It also works well for short-term respite care.
We understand that long-term care can be costly, which is why we have focused on building a reputation of offering access to quality services at affordable prices.
Asking for help is not easy, losing your independence may be your greatest fear. We understand, and we want to be there for you, by your side, every step of the way.
