Ashley Powell, ACNP-BC, MSN, CCRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She received degrees from The University of Alabama and The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Having practiced for nearly five years, Ashley has clinical interests in lumbar surgeries as well as neurotrauma cranial surgeries. Likewise, she has an interest in critical care. She is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner as well as certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her dogs and traveling.
Melissa Jenkins, MSN, CRNP is a family nurse practitioner. She received her Associates Degree in nursing from Troy University, her Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from Walden University and her Master of Science degree and family practitioner status from Walden University. She worked at Baptist Medical Center South for nearly 20 years as a critical care registered nurse. Ms. Jenkins is currently accepting new patients.
Project SEARCH is a high school transition program that provides training and education intended to lead to employment within the community for individuals with disabilities. Students who have completed their academic requirements may apply if they defer their last year of high school to participate in Project SEARCH.
