What is eReq in Preclarus?

One of the most exciting features of the Preclarus investigator site portal is electronic lab requisition (eReq). This new capability allows sites to accession previously bar-coded samples before they leave the office. Once the connection has been made between the sample/patient information and bar code, the data are immediately available to PPD Laboratories. Electronic requisition strengthens the chain of custody by giving sites and PPD Laboratories full visibility to all samples in real time.

What is Preclarus database?

For our central lab, Preclarus is more than just a database — it is an invaluable solution to maximize the time and resources of your study while ensuring its quality. Its benefits are wide-ranging: Simplifies every process from study definition (database setup) to study closeout.

Why is my patient portal locked?

Most likely if your Patient Portal is locked, it is from a wrong username or password being entered. The office can verify your username but not your password. The patient will have to request for a password reset from the portal login screen. An email will be sent to the patient with a temporary password to open their portal account.

How long is a password for a patient?

If the selected login ID is already in use, the patient will receive a notification upon attempting to register. The password must be at least 7 characters in length and does not require numbers or capitalized letters; however, any combination of these may be used. The password is case-sensitive.
