How does Physician Associates of Virginia work?

Physician Associates of Virginia, P.C. provides access to your medical information 24 hours per day by means of the patient portal. Yes, One Medical will offer care for both adults and children . The other practices that PPA providers are going to (SignatureMD and MDVIP) will offer care for adults only.

Will I be able to stay as a patient on my PCP’s panel?

Yes – our priority is ensuring that current patients will be able to stay with their current provider. After August 1st, you will be able to login to the One Medical platform and officially designate your provider as your PCP. Before that time, rest assured, your spot will not be available to any new patients not currently on that provider’s panel.

Will my PPA provider have the same hours?

Your current provider’s hours should remain unchanged through the transition period: 8 am–5 pm, Mon–Tue and 9 am–5 pm Friday. This is at the discretion of PPA. If you need an appointment earlier than what PPA has available online, you can call PPA’s scheduling line at 301-969-2772. Is Potomac Psychological Center offering telepsych?

In response to COVID-19, Potomac Psychological Center, in an effort to help keep our clients safe, is pleased to announce we are offering telepsych services! This will allow our clients to remain at home and still receive the services they need through a video interaction with their provider. Many of our providers will be utilizing the doxy.me platform to achieve this goal. Please contact our front office at 703-858-7838 x100 or your provider directly if you are interested in participating in this service. You will be instructed to visit the doxy.me website, click on the "Get Started - For Free" tab, then click "I Am a Patient" where you will be able to enter a link provided by our staff to begin your telepsych session with your participating provider. Best of all, most major insurances will provide coverage for this type of service!

Fill out the My LifeBridge Health online request form, which can be downloaded here. You will receive an email with a link and instructions to complete your registration.
