These are not liquids you can use to mix with PLENVU. Do not drink alcohol, milk, red or purple colored liquids, or drinks containing pulp. Examples of clear liquids include: Clear soda (ginger ale, seltzer)
Bowel movements can take up to 5-6 hours after beginning the prep to start. Be patient, continue to drink liquids. If you have not had a bowel movement by midnight the night prior to your procedure, you will need to reach the on call physician for further instructions.

How can I tell if my colon is clean enough? If your diarrhea is near-clear or only a light color, then you can be confident that your colon is clean enough for an excellent examination. If your diarrhea is dark colored with solid material mixed in, then you probably need to take more preparation.
