Deep sedation (“twilight sleep”) is available at the Northeast Portland Health Center on Thursdays. When you come for your appointment, we will talk to you about the benefits and risks of deep sedation in detail.

How long after your period can you have an abortion?

You may still be able to have a procedure with local anesthesia. In-clinic abortion is offered up to 18 weeks and 6 days after the start of your last menstrual period. If your last period was after 18 weeks and 6 days, we can still help.

How long does it take to recover from an abortion pill?

Does PPCW accept checks?

Payment for services if you do not have insurance or do not plan to use insurance. Payment can be accepted by cash or credit card. PPCW does not accept checks or American Express. If you cannot access these items, please call us at 1.888.576.7526 so we can assist you.
