When do we disclose health information?

What rights do minors have?

Minors have all the rights outlined in this notice with respect to health information relating to reproductive healthcare, except in emergency situations or when the law requires reporting of abuse and neglect. If you are a minor or a person with a guardian obtaining healthcare that is not related to reproductive health, your parent or legal guardian may have the right to access your medical record and make certain decisions regarding the uses and disclosures of your health information.

Can you release health information about a military member?

If you are a member of the armed forces or are separated/discharged from miliary services, we may release health information about you as required by military command authorities or the Department of Veteran Affairs as may be applicable.
