Illinois law requires Planned Parenthood of Illinois to notify a parent or adult family member if a woman age 17 or younger seeks an abortion, unless a judge gives a waiver. The adult family member does not have to give permission for the minor to have an abortion, but an adult family member must be notified.

If you live out of state, you must physically be in the state of Illinois for your visit. If you have any questions, please call 877-200-7745.
If you are using Insurance or Medicaid, please provide your coverage information to PPIL prior to your visit. A copay may be collected at the beginning of the visit. You will need to provide the outside laboratory with your coverage information.
Any necessary prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.
Please log on to your patient portal for any after-visit instructions or documentation. You may also receive lab results through the portal.
