Founded by the Sisters of St. Francis and the Sisters of Charity, Penrose Hospital celebrates the value of each person's life by lovingly offering care to people regardless of who they are, what they believe or where they're from.

What is the patient portal and how does it work?

The patient portal is an excellent way to manage you and your families health records. If you have not recently been a patient of St. Francis, you can still create an account. Click here to learn more.

Who can access the patient portal 24/7?

Any Centura Health patient who has access privileges can access the patient portal 24/7. The EHR provided by MyCenturaHealth is a crucial component of Centura Health’s Next Generation Electronic Medical Records (NGEMR) initiative.

The Guest House Ministry

Under the umbrella of our Guest House Ministry Fund, the Penrose-St. Francis Health Foundation will be able to support the ongoing operational needs for both the John Zay Guest House at Penrose Hospital and the Guest House at St. Francis Hospital.

How old do you have to be to get a proxy for MyCenturaHealth?

Individuals 18 years of age or older may grant friends and family proxy access to their MyCenturaHealth account at any time by logging in and granting access directly through the portal. Parents or legal guardians of minor children up to age 12 may request proxy access to their child’s MyCenturaHealth account by completing the Patient Authorization for Third Party Access to Patient Portal Form.

How to access Centura Health records?

If you've been a patient in one of our hospitals or Centura Health Physician Group physician practices, you may request access to your medical record by downloading a copy of the Patient Request to Access Medical Records Form (also available in Spanish ), complete it and either bring it in or fax it to the entity’s Health Information Management department to request your medical record.

How to connect to Centura Health?

Simply bring your laptop, PDA, or other wireless-enabled device with you to one of these facilities and connect using your wireless network card. When you first connect, you'll notice "Terms and Conditions" for Centura Health's Guest Network. When you click "Accept", you'll be automatically granted access. Guests with laptops and other wireless devices must have experience in connecting to wireless networks as Centura Health does not provide any assistance in connecting to the wireless network.
