What is my Patient Portal?

Mar 31, 2010 · Pediatric Physicians, Inc is changing how we perform our ADHD services. You will need to be aware of the following information: 1) There will be an automatic fee of $50 for any missed ADHD appointment that is either a no call/no show or cancelled without timely notification (24 hours). This will NOT be billed to your insurance; this is self pay.

The patient portal, increasingly available to patients, allows secure electronic communication with physicians. Although physician attitude toward the portal plays a crucial role in patient adoption, little information regarding physician opinion of the portal is available, with almost no information gathered in the pediatric environment.

Changes Due to Covid-19

Starting April 12, 2021 we will resume our sick walk in hours Mon-Fri 7:30am-9:30am for sick established patients ONLY. With Scheduled office hours Monday-Friday 9:00 am-3pm until further notice.

Saturday: 9:30 am – 12:00pm We will stay as long as we have established sick patients needing us! No new patients. Call us starting at 8:30 am to book a SAME DAY SICK appointment.

Walk-in Hours

Walk-in Hours: Monday through Friday between 7:30 am – 9:30 am for established patients (no new patients), and no appointment is necessary for these emergency ill visits. We happily guarantee same day sick/ill appointments!

How long does a physical exam last?

Visits can include physical measurements, patient history, sensory screenings, behavioral assessments, and planned procedures (immunizations, screenings and other tests) at the following suggested intervals: 3 to 5 days. 2 weeks. 1 month. 2 months.

What is a child's physician?

Children’s Physicians is a Patient-Centered Medical Home. This means we focus care on the health needs of the whole child, including medical, behavioral, and social. We offer behavioral health services in our offices to address issues involving anxiety, depression, potty training, and discipline. We also offer medical social workers and nurse case managers who advocate for patients and families, as well as identify and overcome barriers to good health.

What is an urgent care clinic for children?

Children’s Urgent Care Clinics are available for after-hours care when your child has an illness or injury that’s not serious enough for the emergency room, but can’t wait until your Children’s Physicians office opens.

What is the M-CHAT?

One such screening, the M-CHAT (Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers), helps us detect autism in young children. Diagnose and treat illnesses and other health conditions, such as ear infections, strep throat, or the flu. Provide vaccines, including measles, chicken pox, HPV, meningitis, and seasonal flu vaccine.

Does Children's Physicians offer same day sick visits?

Each office also offers extended hours for appointments to accommodate busy families so that you don’t have to miss work, and your child doesn’ t have to miss school.
