Our bill payment options include: Secure online bill payment at pchc.com – Click here to pay online. Contact us by telephone at (207) 404-8200 M-F, 8am – 5pm, and pay with your credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express Credit Cards.

Introducing Online Self Scheduling

We’re excited to begin the rollout of our online self-scheduling tool. Our online scheduler will allow patients to sign up for appointments. Patients can now start scheduling appointments for COVID-19 Vaccines and visits to Penobscot Pediatrics (our flagship pediatrics practice at 6 Telcom Drive, Bangor) and Brewer Medical Center.

Does Penobscot Community Health Care provide interpreting services?

We provide language interpreting services for persons not fluent in english, as well as sign language, interpreting, and other services for persons who are deaf or hard of hearing. These services are provided by Penobscot Community Health Care free of charge.

By using the SBHC, students simply walk down the hall to receive the same professional medical care they would receive at one of our family medical practices. By providing convenient professional care in school, parents do not need to leave work and provide transportation.

Online Self-Scheduling

PCHC has launched a new convenient self-scheduling tool. We are currently using the scheduler for COVID-19 vaccinations and appointments at Penobscot Pediatrics and Brewer Medical Center (our flagship pediatrics practice at 6 Telcom Drive, Bangor). Additional facilities will be added soon.

Schedule An Appointment by Calling Our Practices

If you are a new patient, simply contact the practice most conveniently located to you by phone. If you are an existing patient, contact your current medical practice by phone. Our patient service representatives will be happy to assist you in finding the next available appointment.

How to contact PCHC billing department?

If you are in our Sliding Fee Program, you must pay your copay at each visit. The PCHC Billing Department can be reached by calling 404-8200. Staff will be happy to help with your billing questions or concerns.

What happens if you don't pay PCHC?

PCHC also does offer payment arrangements if you are unable to pay immediately. If your account is not paid in full or have other arrangements made on the balance within 60-days, your account may be reviewed for further collections action from a third party.

How long do you have to pay a patient's bill?

Account balances (what you owe) must be paid within 60 days of receiving a billing statement in order to avoid Collections.

Does PCHC accept Medicare?

PCHC accepts most insurances, MaineCare, Medicare and self-pay (uninsured). If you do not have insurance or are under-insured, we offer a Sliding Fee Program (Affordable Care Plan) which provides reduced rates for those who qualify. If you have insurance, please bring your insurance card with you to every appointment.
