What is patient portal?

The PATIENT PORTAL is now available for established patients. Through the portal, patients will be able to request appointments and referrals, retrieve lab and diagnostic reports, and communicate with the medical staff via email. Patients who would like to use the portal need to enroll for the service at our front desk.

​Welcome to Neil A. Patterson, M.D., P.A., Family Medicine Clinic located in Oviedo, Florida. Our goal is to provide you and your family a patient-centered medical home where you will receive excellent, cost-effective team-based quality care in a warm and friendly environment. We strive to make your walk through health care easier and less time consuming. For patient convenience we provide in-house laboratory, as well as minor surgery, including wound laceration repair, joint injections and treatment of skin lesions. We offer same or next day appointments.

Gynecology

A yearly examination will include but is not limited to a breast exam, pap smear, and possible bloodwork. If you have Medicare, check with them regarding how often they will cover a pap smear, usually once every 24 months, although your doctor may still want to see you yearly for a breast and pelvic exam.

Obstetrics

We are proud to care for our patients at hospitals that allow labor and delivery to proceed naturally whenever it is safely possible to do so, but which are also able to rapidly provide state of the art advanced care when appropriate.

What is the phone number for a hospital appointment on Saturday?

Saturday hours are for acute care visits only. Please call our office number, 804-741-6200 to schedule a Saturday appointment. The phone line opens at 8am on Saturday.Patients are seen by appointment. In most circumstances, we can accommodate same-day appointments upon your phone call.

What are the services of a syringe?

Some of our comprehensive services include: 1 Annual physicals 2 Chronic care for diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity 3 Senior care 4 Women's services, including Pap smears 5 Minor surgery and lesion removal 6 Sports physicals and back-to-school physicals 7 Well-child care and immunizations 8 On-site x-ray and laboratory

How long does it take to get a prescription refill?

Prescription refills. For your convenience, refill requests for medications other than controlled drugs may be requested through your pharmacy, and your pharmacy will submit the request to us. Medication refill requests should be made during normal business hours. We request 48 hours to provide refill requests.

Can you request medication after hours?

We are not able to process medication request s after hours. Please remember that in certain situations, appropriate medical care requires a patient examination before a prescription can be filled. Medical records. Your records are confidential and will not be released without a signed consent from you.
